Have you ever been annoyed by computer not
responding? Have you still been worried about how to troubleshoot this
problem? Keep reading and we will tell you how to fix computer not
responding.
Computer Not Responding Problems usually happen in two situations.
The first situation is the computer’s registry system
overloads with too much data which means you may be run too many
applications. This will lead to your inadequate RAM situation for your
computer.
The second situation is certain system files become
missing or broken which means your computer can not running properly.
And you have to reinstall your windows.
All the above problems appear frequently. But it does
not mean you actually have a serious problem. However, unless your
computer completely stops responding, then you have a real problem. You
may be able to fix this problem easily or you might need a little more
effort.
The following tips can help you solve the most problems.
1. Press the “Ctrl,” “Alt” and
“Delete” buttons simultaneously. Then choose the “Start Task Manager”
option. Click any program that reads “Not Responding” and then click
“End task.” Sometimes, the program may close at once, but it may also
take a minute before the program closes. Run the program again to see if
it works or is still having problems.
2. Click “Start” and select “Restart” if ending the
“Not Responding” program does not fix the situation. After running the
program again, you probably have already avoided running too many
programs at the same time.
3.Reinstall Windows if the problems still occur
frequently. You should not forget to create backups of your important
files and programs before reinstalling Windows. After that, you can
place the Windows installation CD in the optical drive and restart the
computer. Follow the instructions on screen to install Windows. You’d
better choose the same location on your hard drive to install Windows
again.
